This course is an overview of the significant user-level, system and network differences from Version 4.0 of the operating system.

Who Should Attend

System and network managers, as well as support personnel who are familiar with hp Tru64 UNIX v4.0 and will be upgrading to the hp Tru64 UNIX v5 environment.

Prerequisites

Students should have the experience and knowledge provided by:

U3631S - Utilities and Commands
U3632S - System Administration

Students should be able to install and configure hp Tru64 UNIX v4

External Authentication for OpenVMS
